Trust, Verified.
We don't just list every contractor in Tampa Bay. We personally vet each professional to ensure they meet our standards for technical expertise and customer service.
Personally Vetted.
Every professional featured on this site has been personally met by one of our staff. This isn't an automated directory; it's a curated list of professionals we have looked in the eye and spoken with about their trade.
Verified Partner
The baseline for every professional on our platform. To be a Verified Partner, a contractor must:
- Pass a personal interview with our team.
- Maintain an active license in good standing (where required).
- Carry up-to-date insurance coverage.
Preferred Partner
Our highest tier of recognition. Preferred Partners meet all Verified requirements, plus:
- Minimum of 5 years in business.
- Proven track record of technical excellence.
- Demonstrated commitment to customer service and relationship management.
- Designated as a "Blue Ribbon Pick" throughout the site.
License Verification
If a trade requires a state or local license, we verify its status at the time of the initial interview and when their featured articles are published.
Validated Content
All articles are either written by the partner or transcribed from an interview. Every piece is validated for technical accuracy by the tradesperson before being posted.
Neighborly Language
Our glossary items are reviewed by experts but are translated into plain English to ensure that complex technical concepts are easy for regular people to understand.
Expertise & Responsibility
The opinions expressed by our tradespeople represent their expert opinions and not necessarily those of Blue Ribbon Trades.
While we strive to provide the most up-to-date information, the best person to ask if you have a specific question is the professional themselves. We encourage you to reach out to our partners for clarification on any trade-related matter.
